Rules (PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING!!!)
In order for this to be a safe community for all, we need to have some rules and regulations! There will likely be people of all ages on this site, including minors. So we need to keep this place safe for them. Please read all of the rules before posting anything here on this forum. If you have any questions about anything, feel free to send me a message!
1. NO foul language of any kind. Keep it PG. That means no swearing or discussions of smoking, drugs, alcohol, or any kind of violence. Slurs of any kind are also strictly forbidden. Again, there's a strong possibility that minors will visit this site. If you wouldn't say it to them in person, don't say it here.
2. Bullying and harassment will NOT be tolerated. In order for this to work, we need to be kind and civil with each other. We're not always going to agree on everything, but that doesn't give anyone the right to be cruel to anyone else here. Anyone caught bullying or harassing others for ANY REASON will be banned.
3. The sharing of someone's personal information (without their consent!) is not allowed. Please refrain from sharing any personal information at all here unless you fully trust the person you're giving it to.
4. Please do not spam topic threads. Unless you're updating something like your own fanart topic, please don't post multiple replies in a row in the same thread. You can edit your posts if there's something you forgot to say. If a topic (especially General Chat) has been dormant for more than a day since your last post, you can revive it by posting again.
5. Posting fan content on here is absolutely allowed and encouraged. We have a whole section for that! But please do not steal others' work. If you want to share fan content that isn't your own, please link and credit the original creator! Fan content MUST be human made. Absolutely no AI generated content will be allowed on this forum. Fanmade music (or "repitches") is allowed. But nothing with lyrics that are too inappropriate, and again, no AI.
6. There is a "Fanon" section for sharing anything that's not canon to the franchise. This includes OCs, AUs, and fan theories. All of those things can be shared there. For OCs, the same rule applies as other fan content. Do not steal others' work, no AI generated OC content.
7. "The Chipmunk Library" is for fanfiction. All kinds of fanfiction can go here. But please label non-canon situations like AUs as such. And please, nothing above a PG rating
here.
Punishments will be issued on a strike system. Major actions such as harassment, bullying, or the leaking of another member's personal information will result in an immediate and permanent ban. Minor actions such as spam, theft, and using inappropriate language will be dealt with using a 3-strike system. One strike will result in a warning. Two strikes will result in a temporary ban from posting. Three strikes will result in a permanent ban. Temporary and permanent bans will also apply to any ChipmunkHub events hosted outside of this forum itself, including the discord server.
